We offer a nicely furnished vacation house (85 m²) at Hornindalsvatnet lake, Europe's deepest lake. Ideal for a tour on a boat, to go trout fishing, or chars and eels, or just spent relaxing days at the cabin. We have boats and fishing tackle for rent and during the late summer we can go fishing with nets when the catch of big trout takes place. Chars are catch from mid- September through mid- November. Central location (everything is just 1 hour drive away), famous destinations at a distance such as glaciers Briksdalsbreen, Vestkapp and Geiranger. Besides that, there are numerous hiking options both during summer and winter. There are numerous skiing options for the whole family during winter (down- hill and cross - country skiing). The vacation house can be rented any time throughout the year. Extra charge for the use of electricity.

Hornindal is one of the 26 communities in Fylke (land) Sogn og Fjordane. It is located at the old and well-known excursion path between Sunnmøre and Indre Nordfjord. Its neighbour communities are Stryn and Eid in Nordfjord and Ørsta, Stranda and Volda in Møre og Romsdal. The population is of 1200 inhabitants. The centre of Hornindal is called Grodås and is located 4,5 km away from Naustloftet on the northeast coast of Hornindalsvatnet lake, which is at 52 m above sea level. The lake is the deepest in Europe with its 514 m depth. Hornindal is the ideal starting point for tours to the famous attractions such as glacier Briksdal, Jostedalsbreen nasjonalparksenter Stryn, Geirangerfiord, Norangsdalen, Vestkapp and the Strynefjellet Mountains. Road Rv 60 runs through the town.

Leisure activities during the summer : Fishing in freshwaters, at salmon rivers, fiords and at the sea. Trips to the mountains and forests. Summer skiing center at Stryn, where you will be able to find good ski- runs also during summer. Good bathing options directly at your front door, but also at ´Refviksanden´, the best beach on the Atlantic Ocean.

Leisure activities during the winter: Fishing in freshwaters, fiords and at the sea. Very good skiing possibilities: down- hill and cross - country skiing in Hornindal, Stryn, Stranda, Bondalseidet (Ørsta) and Nordfjordeid (Harpefossen).
