Very central luxurious apartment, refurbished in July 2009, of about 65 sq. m. a few steps from Rialto Bridge, in the historical heart of Venice. Very close to the main boat stops and the main monuments. On the third floor of an ancient bright building, served by a lift from the first floor, it is composed of a large living room with kitchen, a large bedroom, a medium bedroom and a marble-decorated bathroom. The entire apartment has been completely refurbished keeping all the previous ancient features such as the Palladian and Venetian style marble floors, artisan hand-manufactured wooden doors and windows, classic radiators heating... New and valuable furniture and fittings, for total and personal comfort. The kitchen is very functional, complete with tools. From the terrace, on the fifth floor, fantastic view over the roofs and the churches of Venice. It's the right choice to relax in a quiet but very central location, near to shops, restaurants, museums, theaters, live music.

The apartment is at 50 meters from RIALTO BRIDGE. Rialto is the ancient core where Venice was once founded by people escaping from barbarians. Here is the center of the historical town with the most ancient monuments. Piazza San Marco, the other main MUST of Venice is a 5 minute's walk from Rialto. Walking to San Marco you will pass through the street named 'MERCERIE' where the most famous ateliers have their shops: Gucci, Pierre Cardin, Dolce e Gabbana, Versace....; this is the most VIP street of the town. At 3 minute's walk from Rialto you will find the old vegetable and fish open-air market which is very typical and where you can have dinner along the Grand Canal in one of the open-air inns so beloved by people for the magic atmosphere. At 10 minute's walk you will visit FRARI or S. GIOVANNI E PAOLO gothic churches However, as you can see from Venice map, the apartment is just in the center of Venice and you can easily reach, on foot or by boat, all Venice points of interest.

I was in this new flat for some days in October. I found it very comfortable and nice. Everything was clean and in perfect order. The flat is large, bright and really pleasant. I could easily cook my food and then rest for half an hour in the afternoon before going out again. The location is fantastic: a few meters from Rialto Bridge!
