The accommodation downstairs comprises of one vast living room with stone walls and wooden beams opening onto the garden by a large bay window. It is equipped with a kitchenette and a fold-away bed for two. There is a TV set, central heating (extra charge) will be available if the weather makes it necessary. A first floor bedroom with a double bed and a single bed are available. You have a view on the village. Bathroom and toilets. There is a mezzanine in the same room holding two single beds. The interior is fully equipped. It is a very romantic place to be with dried garden flowers hanging from the old beams in the dining room but you can also eat on the terrace under a Provencal sun.

Montaren is village built around a medieval castle, a vast plain with olive-trees, vines, a pine forest crowns the village. Near Uzès a famous medieval place: provencal market on Saturday, in July 'les nuits musicales' in August 'la foire aux vins', lot of cafés; near le Pont du Gard, Nîmes, Glanum C, Avignon, The Camargue (beaches, flamingos. Finally the Cévennes made famous by R. L. Stevenson.
