The property is located on the sunny south coast of Madeira in the popular area of Reis Magos - Canico de Baixo. Four bedrooms all with direct access to an amazing varanda with views for miles over the Atlantic and surrounding areas. The master bedroom suite has en suite bathroom facilities as well as 2 walk in, his and hers wardrobes. The other three bedrooms share an enormous jacuzzi bathroom with walk in shower and two large pedestal sink units. Also within the property are two kitchens, a large living area also with access to the veranda, a dining area both inside and out and key entry from the elevator into the apartment. 1 min from the beach, local fish restaurants, other restaurants and bars plus the bus stop is only a 2/300 metre walk. From here you can easily reach Funchal and the many Levada walks that are dotted around this area.

Reis Magos is located in Canico de Baixo the popular tourist area on the rugged sunny south coast of Madeira. 10 Mins either side from Funchal and the airport its ideally located for easy access to both. More peaceful than Funchal, this is a real get away from it all holiday. Famous for its levada walks, beautiful gardens and fantastic landscapes Madeira is a haven for those seeking peace and quiet. Within the local area you will find Restaurants, Cafes, Shopping Malls, Boutiques, Bars and Hotels as well as Many Beaches, long walks and Sporting activities.Other activities can be found in the briefing book within the apartment. Scuba Diving: The base is located in Madeira's sole underwater nature reserve which is the only one in the Atlantic with the DIN-Certification

Car Hire: Car Hire can easily be arranged for you. Please request a quote when booking. The car can be picked up by you and returned to the airport. All travel details will be sent by email to you. Alternatively a transfer from the airport can be arranged plus there are taxis are right outside the airport.

Golfing: Palheiro golf course is only 7km away or 15mins by car. Classic hills, ridges,deep valleys and thoroughfares have all been incorporated into the terrain to produce a dramatically interesting course, with stunning views. Arrangements can easily be made for our clients at the Club (bookings etc) as well as a free informal chat with the local British golf captain and his wife, great, if you would like a more in depth guide. Also the spectacular 27-hole Santo da Serra golf course [also known as Campo de Golfe part of the PGA European Tour] is within easy reach - 13km away. This is Madeira’s oldest golf course. It sits high up on a plateau and is marvelously scenic with inspirational views back up the mountains and out over the Atlantic below.

We were the first to stay in this apartment so we were a little apprehensive. We neednt have been because as soon as we walked in the place was amazing. The size and of course the balcony was so breathtaking we spent the first hour just walking around.
The view from the balcony is stunning and we often sat outside and watched the passing cruise ships while enjoying a beverage or two.
Canico was a lovely place to stay. It was easy to get to Funchal so we didn't miss staying in the City plus there were a few restaurants nearby which saved on the cooking. If you are new to Madeira you must try a "Levada" walk we have been a few times now and some of these walks are amongst the best ive ever done.
I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing or a get up and go type of holiday and who like a lot of space.
