Set along a country lane, just a short walk from the heart of the village of Patrimonio, Villa di Ceppo is a newly built villa of the highest specification. With a traditional slate roof and thick walls, the house has been sympathetically designed to sit comfortably in its semi­rural surroundings. Located on land backed by open woodland and facing away from the lane the house is peacefully situated in pleasantly planted, grassed gardens with views of the church. The house itself is cool and airy in the heat of the summer with vaulted ceilings in the living area, tiled and wooden floors. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with a modern granite work surface, beech cabinets and chrome fittings, and both an inside and outside eating area for those home prepared meals. Great for older families, groups of friends or those travelling with grandparents, the villa is sure to prove popular.

St Florent is situated at the base of the Cap Corse. It is a friendly town and an ideal centre for beach holidays and for exploring Corsica's northwest coast or the mountain villages inland. In the town centre a maze of narrow streets and passages fills the space between harbour and Citadel, and the town squares, encircled by cafes, looks towards the lively waterfront with its row of restaurants. Behind St Florent spreads the quiet, attractive countryside of the Conca d'Oro. Its villages are an integral part of the landscape, hugging the slopes where the hills begin to rise, the old stone houses looking as if they grew out of the rock from which they are built. St Florent lies on a sparkling bay, sheltered between the wild mountains of Cap Corse and the magnificent, untamed Désert des Agriates. Nicknamed St Flo, it is less pretentious and more intimate than St Tropez, with a fantastic atmosphere and many good beaches nearby.
