A real gem, this property is truly something special – situated in the heart of Erbalunga not far from the tower that dominates the headland, Apartment des Peintres is a real “away from it all” retreat. Positioned directly on the sea, both bedrooms and the living room have direct sea views out towards the distant Bastia Citadel, 10km away. Most guests find it hard to tear themselves away from the sound of the lapping waves below their own seaside balcony. Decorated in a bohemian style and renovated sympathetically to retain many original features including the colourful tiled floors, the apartment is ideally equipped for holiday living. With a number of restaurants just a short walk away and bathing from rocks on the headland as well as Erbalunga’s pebble beach, the apartment provides the ideal base for a relaxing holiday in probably one of the most unspoilt seaside towns in Corsica.

Tiny fishing ports and sandy coves line the island's east coast - among them rests the picturesque fishing village of Erbalunga. Once the most important harbour on the Cap, today the magnificent houses testify to the former wealth of the area. An intimate network of squares and narrow streets lead down to the harbour, providing a sanctuary to those seeking a taste of authentic village life. The ruins of the Genoese tower here are a popular subject choice for artists and photographers and the village is also a venue for music and arts festivals. There is a good range of facilities including shops, cash dispenser machine, post office, bars and restaurants and a dive school at Sisco marina, slightly further north. Miomo is situated on the east coast and is the gateway to the spectacular scenery and fishing ports of the Cap Corse. It is a vibrant little village with plenty going on in summer and the large town of Bastia is a short drive away.
