Les Tournesols is a stone cottage totally self-contained and situated in private, landscaped gardens just a short walk from the village of Vitrac Port on the river Dordogne, 6km south of Sarlat.
Ground floor:

The spacious open-plan living area has exposed stone walls and original oak beams. The comfortable couch and armchairs are arranged around the open fireplace with wood-burning stove. There is a TV, DVD player, music system and a selection of books and games for adults and children.
Kitchen:
The kitchen area has a range of fitted cupboards and is well equipped with gas hob and oven, microwave oven, fridge, washing machine and ironing facilities, as well as electric kettle, toaster and coffee maker. The dining table seats 4-6.
First floor:
There are two bedrooms and a shower room on the first floor. Bedroom 1 is a generous size with 160cm (5ft) bed, bedroom 2 is a twin room with two single 90cm (3ft) beds. Both bedrooms are carpeted and very comfortably furnished. They have electric radiator heating and both have lovely views over the gardens and surrounding countryside. All beds are made up for your arrival with crisp bed linen. The shower room has a shower unit, wash basin and wc. There is a heated towel rail. Bath towels, hand towels and bath mats are supplied.
Outdoors:
French doors open from the living room onto the spacious paved terrace which is bathed in afternoon sunshine. Separated from the garden by a Wisteria-clad pergola it provides a private location for sunbathing or relaxing with a good book.With a dining table and chairs for 6 people and the barbeque closeby it is perfect setting for an aperatif or al-fresco meal.
The mature garden with specemin trees, shrubs and lawned areas surrounds the house and terrace giving great privacy. The pool, surrounded by a paved terrace with sun loungers, parasols and dining furniture is adjacent to the charcoal BBQ. 9mx4m with roman steps at the shallow end and 1.2m at the deep end, the pool is provided with a cover which acts as a security barrier and a heat insulator. There is a solar powered shower for your convenience.There is secure off-road parking for two cars.
