This large luxuriously furnished and fully equipped apartment is situated on the edge of beautiful and ancient Tavira town in a great location. Right in the heart of the Ria Formosa nature reserve, this is an ideal location for all types of holidays. 25 minutes from Faro airport and 20 minutes to the border with Spain, ideally situated for Golf (3 courses within 10 minutes) touring, sight seeing, beaches, bird watching and many other activities. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you would expect in a brand new modern holiday apartment, all rooms have fantastic panoramic views to the sea. 2 large twin bedrooms, bathroom bath and a shower over it, large fully equipped kitchen with all appliances, large lounge diner with satellite TV/DVD player, CD player. There are 2 balconies and a large private roof terrace all with great views over Tavira and the Ria Formosa to the sea. Passes for nearby Tavira Gardens with 4 pools and bars etc can be bought @ 5 euros/day each.

The Beautiful and ancient Town of Tavira straddles the river Gilao with it's Roman bridge, still a working fishing port, Tavira has all of the facilities you need for a relaxing break. Situated in the heart of the Ria Formosa Nature reserve, this Friendly and Romantic area hosts some of the best foods and wines in Europe. A haven for wildlife and birds this area is one of the best places to see nature at it's best. Beaches here have been awarded top 8 in Europe and top 10 in the World! Still very authentic, the 'Forgotton Algarve' will charm you with it's simplicity and the warmth of the friendly locals, it is like turning back time, hard to believe these days! Prices here are still very cheap, a meal for two with wine can be as little as 20 Euros. Steeped in history Tavira and surrounding area host some fantastic architecture, tourist routes, walks, cycle tracks etc etc.

Transport details: Transport to and from the Airport and all golf courses on the Algarve can be arranged with English speaking drivers. Car rental quotations available upon request. The apartment is 30minutes from Faro airport and 20 minutes from the frontier with Spain. 2 hours from Seville. Tavira can also be reached by Bus and train from the airport.

Trips tours and excursions: We can arrange all transfers with English speaking drivers. We can also arrange Boat Tours to the Ria Formosa lagoons. Walking/Cycling tours Trips to Seville Trips into the Campo (countryside)

Beaches: Beaches in the area have been awarded positions of top 8 in Europe and top 10 in the World Most beaches are Island beaches and, can mostly be accessed by small ferry or water taxis. Cost is approx 1 to1.5 euros each way. Beaches are all beautifully clean with soft white sand gently sloping into the ocean. The nearest beach is Tavira Island, catch the ferry from the fishing quay in Tavira town centre or, the pier at Quatro Aguas. Walk on beaches can be visited at Barrill (west end of Santa Luzia Village) Altura, Pria Verde, Manta Rota all within 15 mins.

Golf: The apartment is close to 3 very good courses, Benamor- 5mins, Quinta da Cima and Quinta da Ria 10 mins. Other courses include Monte Rei and Castro Marim. details are available upon request. Benamor- Beautiful course, interesting and challenging, very picturesque.Walkable Quinta da Cima and Quinta are longer and more challenging championship courses.Both walkable Castro Marim is approx 20 minutes away, very hilly excellent course- take a deal including buggies, we walked it once- never again! Monte Rei- Superb high quality course 15 minutes away, this will empty your pocket though! prices around 140 Euros We can arrange transport to/from all courses and the airport. Car hire quotes available upon request.
