Deer's Leap is the perfect location for a scenic stay amongst the most stunning of the UK's landscapes. Situated on the very edge of the Exmoor national park. The house is very comfortable and spacious & the only problem you're likely to have is leaving. The property is set in a secluded area giving you all the peace & privacy you need. You can enjoy stunning walks straight from the house as there are a number of public foot paths and bridle ways, not to mention being on the two moors way, across the edge of the grounds and fields. It's the ideal place to get together with friends or family. There's lots of space and plenty on & off site to do any time of year. From 2010, you'll even be able to get married here! You'll have the chance to see lots of local wildlife, including buzzards & Exmoor ponies, which live wild just up the road & if your stay is during the autumn or winter, come home after a lovely walk to cosy up by one of the fires or sit out under the stars in the hot tub.

Deer's Leap is 1 mile from Exmoor National Park. 6 Miles from the beautiful town of Dulverton in Somerset & 8 Miles from the bustling market town of South Molton in Devon. Dulverton is home to Exmoor pony society & the town itself is full of boutiques & coffee shops, not to mention pubs & restaurants. Infact Exmoor is full of great places to eat out & the Exmoor food festival held every year in Oct is testament to that. Nth Devon has plenty to offer any time of year, whether you enjoy outdoor or indoor pursuits. Placed 6 miles from the famous Tarr steps there is always a stunning walk, drive or ride to take you out into the country side which surrounds you & beckons you out. 30 mins away is the historic town of Barnstable & the theatre, shopping & wonderful pannier market. A 50 min drive will take you to all the North Devon Beaches, Sauton, Woolacoome & Lee. Ilfracombe & Coombe Martin are less that an hr away & beautiful Dunster castle is 40 mins. Knightshayes NT house is 30 mins.

Notes: The main farm house has it's own private front & back garden. The back garden is not fully enclosed. Onsite there is a small pond near the house & a very large pond with stoeked with carp that can be fished. The large pond has wooden decking along 1 edge. There is a hard court tennis court a games room with table tennis & pool table, an outdoor hot tub, indoor sauna & exercise room with weights & a couple of exercise machines for guests use. All these facilities are shared with another cottage that sleeps 4. We have onsite DIY stabling for anyone wishing to bring their horse or you may book riding through us with the riding stable 2 miles up the road. We can also book fly fishing for you at a wonderful local fishery or clay shooting, which can be done onsite. You may also book treatments in our treatment room or have them in your own bedroom or the snug. (pre booking essential). All this can be booked online & paid with your holiday.
