Photos and Description of this Venasque holiday villa Spaceous 5 bedroom country house surrounded by hills, woods & magnificent views

The property covers 4,5 hectares and is surrounded by woods, cherry groves and vineyards, The house itself has a capacity for 10 persons, with 5 independent bedrooms of which 3 have their own WC and bathroom. One of these rooms is the parental suite. On the first floor, 2 rooms share a bathroom with WC. One of the rooms is accessible only from the outside and has a private terrace. The kitchen has all amenities and a direct access to the main terrace, where you can enjoy your meals at the large table with seating for 12 while taking in the magnificent views of the surrounding area. Ending the day with a glass of cool rosé on the terrace and contemplating the renowned sunset is another must-do experience. The spaceous living room is equipped with: TV, VCR, stereo and a fireplace (for winter use only) A washing machine at your disposal. The swimming pool is 12x6m and fully enclosed, with a single gate with child-lock for the protection of small children.

  • Rental rates include cleaning, kitchen towels and bedlinen (150€), but not bath or swimming pool towels.
    A deposit of 25% of the rental price is to be paid upon the signing of the rental contract.
    A safety deposit of 1000€ should be paid at the latest one month before the start date of the rental period. This deposit will be reimbursed at the latest one month following the departure and if no breakage or deterioration has been incurred.

Looking for some peace and quiet?: If you are looking for a quiet place to get away from it all and enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the Provence, look no further. The property is located in a rural area, 3 km from the village of Venasque and far from all busy roads. Historical sites abound in the near vicinity: Avignon, Isle sur la Sorgue, Pernes les Fontaines, Gordes,.... Wineries can be found in the vicinity, with famous Chateauneuf du Pape at 20 minutes by car. Nothing better than lounging on the terrace, contemplating the sunset with a nice glass of wine.

You enjoy sports?: If you enjoy hiking, biking and other outdoor activities, there are many roads, tracks and trails leaving directly from the house. The famous Mont Ventoux is about 20 minutes away by car. The pool is 12m long, so you can swim decent laps, if that's your thing. Tennis courts are in Venasque and horseback riding (incluing day trips) is possible in Saint Didier (5km's). The Provence Country Club and Grand Avignon its golf courses are about 20 minutes by car. In the winter, the Mont Ventoux (1920m) offers downhill runs for skiers and boarders alike. Climbers can enjoy themselves too, starting in Venasque where there are a number of pistes.
