Our 120 year old traditional fisherman's cottage has been fully modernised and tastefully decorated to provide a home-from-home in the peaceful and picturesque village of Findochty on the Moray Firth coast. Metres from the harbour/marina, with sandy beaches and golf course nearby. This spacious, fully modernised property is on two floors. Downstairs there is a large lounge, with feature gas fire, and dining room, as well as kitchen, shower room and utility room. The three bedrooms, awash with light from the large windows, are upstairs. The property is centrally heated (gas) and fully equipped. There is a small, private terrace outside with table and chairs. Findochty is a peaceful haven where you can relax or use a base to visit the many attractions that North East Scotland and the Highlands have to offer - golf; unspoilt sandy beaches and majestic cliffs; highland games; whisky trail; castles; speyside way; mountains; etc

    £50 refundable security deposit required at time of booking. Total due to be paid four weeks before required date. Deposit (minus deductions for breakages/damages) returned on completing let.

    10% discount for more than one week booked.

    PLEASE NOTE - We have only been renting out our cottage since August 2009 - Don't be put off by empty calendar. All our guests so far have loved the cottage.
    Main rental details are
    - Rental period runs from Saturday to Saturday - from 4.00 pm on day of arrival to 10.00 am on departure date
    - Electricity and gas are included in the rental price.
    - Bed linen and towels included. Please bring your own beach towels.
    - A folder of information (house; Findochly; surrounding area) will be provided.
    - A 'welcome pack' with some basic provisions such as bread, dairy and fruit, will be provided on arrival

These are all within a sixty mile (100 km) radius. the Moray Coast enjoys long hours of daylight in the summer, with spectacular sunsets.

What to See and Do: The Moray Firth coast is a nature lovers paradise.
