New high quality villa located on a hillside overlooking the village of Durban Corbieres. The villa has been well-equipped and furnished to a high standard. The property is arranged with an open plan living/dining area with large French doors opening onto the outside area. Double French doors from the master bedroom also open out onto onto the outside area. The south facing rear garden is provided with a private pool with hardwood decking and BBQ. The outside area provides a panoramic view of the ruined Chateau and surrounding vineyards. A good local supermarket is located in the village, along with a local restaurant, cash point, a boulangerie and a tabac.

The village of Durban Corbieres lies within the heart of the famous Cathar region. A good local supermarket is located in the village, along with a cash point, a boulangerie and a tabac. A small restaurant is located in the village whilst a further selection of restaurants are present in the surrounding villages and towns (including a nearby Michelin starred restaurant). The property is in a good location for exploring the many local vineyards. Narbonne is the nearest large town which is approx 30 mins drive. The Mediterranean coastline can be reached within 25 mins via car at the resort of La Franqui. This stretch of the Med provides around 110 miles of coast line with long sandy beaches and rocky outcrops. Carcassonne and Perpignan airports are approx 45 mins drive, with Beziers airport approx 1 hour. Toulouse, Montpelier and Girona (Spain) airports are approx 1 hour 45 minutes away.

Bedroom 2 is on a split level and the outside decking is stepped down from the living area, which may cause difficulties for wheelchair users. The property is also located on a hillside, so access to and from the village for persons with restricted mobility is recommended via a car.
