Route des Sanguinaires beaches are only 10mins by car with easy & free parking available, or go by bus to Trottel Beach (Plage Trottel) in 5 min (bus leaves every half-hour from a stop 4 mins walk away). The terrace, living room and kitchen all have sea and mountain views. Both bedrooms open on to the rear balcony with treed local views; 1 double and 2 single beds. New high quality bedding. All major rooms are air conditioned/heated; Plasma TV; Fixed-line phone.

In Ajaccio, there are a wide choice of Corsican cuisine restaurants, and others on the beach offering fresh produce and grilled meat and fish plus light meals & sandwiches. The historical center is interesting; the Fech Museum, the birthplace of Napoleon and the Bonaparte Lounges, and the Casino. A large daily market in the city center beside the port square sells local products. Nearby, are walks and hikes in the Maquis forest (the Bois des Anglais) visit the hinterland, Calanques of Piana, the prehistoric site of Filitosa, and old capital Corté. You can drive down and back to Bonifacio (at the extreme south of Corsica) in one day GETTING TO THE APARTMENT - From airport, direction Ajaccio on coastal road. When on Cours Napoleon, turn right into Avenue Colonel Colonna d'Ornano on the right just past Post Office (at the sign 'Martival') Go up the hill until the police compound on right then turn left to Rue Glycine. It's about 200 metres further up the hill, up high on the right bend.

  • A 25% deposit is required to secure your booking. Full details and documentation is sent to you immediately on receipt of your deposit as well as a standard rental contract, a signed copy of which is returned to us.
    The balance is payable through a bank transfer 10 days prior to your arrival, or through PAYPAY if that is your preference.
    Keys to the apartment are handed to you by a secure welcome service we have arranged for you within the building on the same floor as your apartment. Late bookings which commence within 10 days of the current day's date are to be paid for in full, at the time of booking.
    Cancellation Policy - Deposit refunds are issued (-10%) provided notification is given any time up to 8 weeks before the commencement date. Deposit refunds are not possible if notification is received after that date; as you will appreciate in many cases it's not possible for us to find another holiday renter for the same period at relatively short notice.

We enjoyed this holiday apartment in Corsica as it was just like the photos, with beautiful views. In the way it was furnished with many personal touches it was like staying at the home of friends, rather than a sterile hiliday apartment. The terrace view was beautiful. We went to the local supermarket and bakery close by so we found we did not need to hire a car, as we could also walk or take bus 7 to the city centre and beach.
It's well located, clean and quiet and we would stay there again on another visit.

The unit was far beyond my expectations of a holiday home. There was an abundance of quality linen, cutlery, glass wear and plates. The water was piping hot and never ran cold.. The unit was spacious and was furnished with a very French style of decor. The modern bathroom was tasteful and well decorated. The beds were comfortable and well sprung. The location allows one to walk into the city and even go to the beach if you dont have a car. The unit is very quiet and secure however its greatest asset is the superb view of Ajaccio harbour and the panoramic views of the moutains and sea views. It has fairy tale view at night. What more could you wish for on an Overseas holiday.

As Ajaccio is centrally located on the west coast, visitors who have not been to Corsica before also tell us they find it's a convenient place from which to explore all the island by car.
