The Phoenix II Holiday Complex is a small modern development in a superb location just 5 minutes walk from the centre of the bustling town of Bansko and 8 minutes walk from the main ski gondola. The accommodation consists of a lovely studio apartment for up to 3 persons, with a large balcony overlooking the Glasne river and with glorious unobstructed views of the Pirin mountains. The apartment has a double bed, separate single sofa bed and a comfortable living space with cable TV & DVD player. There is a large shower room and the kitchenette is fully equipped with cooker, hob, fridge, microwave and table and chairs. The apartment provides an excellent inexpensive base for ski and golfing breaks with a range of other outdoor activities available nearby. The complex has a bar and restaurant located on the ground floor.

Nearest Airport: Sofia International Airport at 150 Kilometres
Car: not necessary
Surrounded by the Pirin , Rila and Rhodopa mountains, Bansko is essentially a mountain resort with a short but often hot summer and long cold winter. The coldest month is January with the average temperature of around –5 degrees C in the valleys and ski resorts, and up to minus -20 degrees C on the higher peaks in Pirin, where snow cover typically lasts from mid December to April. There are 65kms of ski runs with excellent sking & snowboarding facilities for all levels of experience and ski schools and nursery slopes for beginners. In winter months Bansko has a large outdoor ice skating rink. For non-skiers Bansko remains a great little medieval town with lovely cobbled streets and fine architecture. With over 150 restarants (mehanas) and numerous bars to choose from you won't be bored. In summer don't miss the village of Dobrinishte just 6 km away with its large modern outdoor swimming pool, or take the cable car ride to the Pirin National Park where you can go hiking and climbing.
