La Petite Jardin is a beautiful detached Provencal Mas within the stunning medieval village of Bargemon yet only a few minutes walk from the center of town. It has tranquille garden, a very small swimming pool and sun terrace with magnificent views towards the villages of Bargemon and Claviers. There is outdoor eating areas to the side of the property with barbecue and rotisserie and a wood fired oven. The house is set back from the road in a complex of Provencal style properties with parking. There is a large terrace to the front of the property and a studio with bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom. Living accommodation comprises a fully equipped small kitchen with seating for 6 in the glass room with direct access to the terraces, separate studio, bedrooms, two shower rooms. A TV with Sky in the sitting room and wireless internet access.

Bargemon is an ancient village in the upper Var department, sitting at the edge of the Canjuers plateau at the base of the Var Prealps. Dating back to the early 9th century, Bargemon was fortified in Medieval times, and still retains vestiges of walls and fortified entries. Bargemon village has an ancient feel to it. The streets are narrow and the many squares with flowing fountains are heavily shaded. The buildings are old, and there are many examples of the past here, including the 12th-century church built into the old defensive wall of the village. Bargemon is known for its pure water and its climate and, like some of the other villages of this region, has olive-oil mills and honey. At the Col du Bel Homme (915 m), there's a magnificent view of the valleys and mountains to the south (in a panorama from east to west), including the Mediterranean sea and far villages nestled in the hills and on the coast.

    Villa cleaning € 100, laundered bed linen & towels € 25 pr. person. Pool maintenance each week inclusive. The villa rental includes electricity, gas and water consumption during mid and high season.
    Between 1 October and 30 April, electricity is charged according to usage as is wood for the wood burner in the salon.
    * Changeover day
    Saturday changeover in high and mid-season. Flexible at other times. Arrival after 4pm, departure by 10am.
    * Booking notes
    We ask for a deposit of 25% of the rental at booking. Balance to be paid 6 weeks before the rental period begins together with a 400 euro returnable security deposit.
