A lovingly cherished French home recently totally refurbished to the owners requirements. This 5 bedroom villa has uninterrupted southerly views across the mountain valley. The heated infinity pool, barbecue and terrace are all encompassed in this serene setting above the main house with incredible views both day and night. All rooms have en suite facilities where only the best materials have been used. This is also reflected in the new kitchen dining and lounge areas that all feed onto a central courtyard. This courtyard has the shady protection of a huge pineapple palm that will give you pleasing shade for the coffee and baguette in the morning or a welcome afternoon snooze. It is a pleasant walk to the village along the old railway track and takes around 25 mins. In Claviers you have a boulangerie, general sores and a few charming restaurants - it really is a typical hillside village!

  • All the bathrooms have been recently tiled using the finest stone tiles and fittings. Bathroom 1 and the studio that opens onto the courtyard both have Victorian style bathtubs. All towels are provided and bed linen will be changed each week. These are included in the price. Extra cleaning can be arranged as required.

  • All bedrooms are beautifully appointed with traditional French style bedroom furniture. All windows are draped with splendid provencal fabrics All bedrooms have ensuite and air conditioning. Studio 2 also has a sitting area and TV and is more or less self contained. Bedroom 1 and studio 1 have Victorian style bath tubs. All bed linen is supplied in the cost of the villa. The villa will be cleaned on arrival and on departure - further cleaning can be arranged and will be paid locally by you to the meet and greet service who will be on hand to help out with any issues.

Notes: Claviers is a splendid community, it has a doctor in the village and an architect if you feel its the place for you to design your own home in provence. There is a taxi - but they get very busy - don't rely on a quick phone call and a quick pick up - this is not city type taxis - and they are expensive too! The local 'Fraternity' in Claviers is well worth joining - have a drink with the locals - they are very friendly and its the cheapest drink in Provence! Bouls is played most evenings in the village by locals and ex pats alike - great fun. There are plenty of markets in all of the local villages. The biggest locally being Fayence on a Saturday morning. Every village has a carnival each year - the dates vary but all are worth a visit - its like carnivals should be! For the children its well worth hiring bikes - this can be done in nearby Bargemon and the large lake at Fayence is a great day out. Best local beach - Theole sur mer - near Cannes.
