We are located in a quiet farming community on one of the Coevron hillsides with fantastic views of the valley below where the river Erve meanders through. Being located in Mayenne, places us in the Loire region where the good weather begins. Le Mans is a short drive away for the racing enthusiasts who want a quiet retreat. You can enjoy quiet walks or bike rides own local lanes and footpaths directly from our place. The local sleepy village of Saint Georges sur Erve has fishing and hunting activities and restaurant. There are many other interesting and historic places, such as the Galo Roman town of Jublain, La Fleche Zoo and Saulges Caves, to visit a short drive away. The local Sillé forest has a large lake where you can enjoy fishing, walking, pony riding and boating - ideal for family activities. There are several restaurants near us. We also have a local 'English pub' in nearby village of St Piere (fish and chips too!). Free internet Wi-Fi broadband connection.

Le Mans is only 30 mins away. This is an ideal place to relax after the noise and excitement of the races or a visit to Papier City. The local Sillé forest has a large lake and beach where you can enjoy swimming, fishing, walking, pony riding and boating - ideal for family activities. There are two restaurants overlooking the lake. There is a local sports centre in Evron where the pool has a tropical theme. There is a good variety of restaurants in Evron too. Saulges caves exploration and climbing activities. Visit La Fleche Zoo with animal shows all day. Roman museum, baths, temple and amphi-theatre at Jublains. Medieval centre nearby. Domfront medieval festival every odd year.

  • The house bedrooms are well suited for a family. The large double bedroom in the House has an additional childs bed if required. Additonal double bedroom in Gite will be available for Easter 2010 with en-suite shower and WC. This is downstairs and would be ideal for guests with minor walking difficulties, although there will be one or two steps into the room. You can book both the House and Gite together with a 20% discount. The combination will take up 10 people with new Gite bedroom next year.

Gite (2 Bedroom, Sleeps 5) from March 2010: The Gite sleeps a maximum of 3 upstairs and offers one massive main bedroom with one double bed and one single beds and a cot. The shower room upstairs is tastefully decorated with a roomy jet shower, wc, heater and washbasin. The entrance from garden is via split-level door leading into the kitchen and dining area with traditional floor tiles. The kitchen has a sink unit, gas cooker, washing machine, microwave, coffee machine and fridge/freezer. There is room for more than 6 people around the table. A high-chair is also available. Satellite UK TV, DVD, and a collection of books to entertain you. There is also a double bed/settee for occasional visitors or large groups increasing the number to 5. The rooms are fully insulated and currently have air-conditioning for heating and cooling. Linen is provided.

Outside - Splash pool, games, BBQ, etc: Indoor and outdoor games. Archery and boules for adults. BBQ, tables and chairs. Two adult mountain bikes and childrens bikes. Quiet country lanes and paths to walk and cycle down. Free for guests. Two barbecues, two tables, 8 chairs, loungers, enclosed garden area and several secluded grass areas. We also have an safely enclosed 4.5 m splash pool for your enjoyment. Kids love it! (Plans for 6m pool in 2010). Games - archery, boules and netball/badminton equipment available. Tent and swings for children. Horse riding in area. We have 3 gentle horses the children love to see and stroke.
