Comfortable 4 bed detached house. Sleeps 8-10. Garden. Rural views towards sea.

Cornwall/ N. Devon border, in the attractive village of Welcombe, the house is surrounded by lawn and overlooks countryside towards the sea. Downstairs: Kitchen: fridge, hob, electric oven, microwave, Rayburn, dishwasher, breakfast table. Utility room: shower, washing machine, dryer, fridge freezer. Separate lavatory. Sitting room: TV, DVD, open fireplace. Large conservatory. Dining room, seats 10, open fireplace. All with countryside views. Upstairs: main bedroom (king) - ensuite shower room, double bedroom ( 4'6' double), twin bed room, large childrens bedroom for 3/4 with bunks, single bed and z-bed, basin. Bathroom: bath, basin, lavatory, electric shower. Full central heating. Garden. Games Room - ping pong. Excellent village pub with food 200 mtrs. Beautiful walks through nature reserve to coastal path and beach. Welcombe beach (surfing and rock pools) 5 mintue drive. Village shop 1.5 miles. Ideal for family seaside holiday or all year walking retreat. Peaceful location.

Once is never enough.

My family stayed in Springfield twice last year. 3 generations under the same roof and there was always plenty to do whatever the weather. Great games room and garden, good walks and a local pub. Our dog was equally pleased. The owner Chloe is great, very flexible and accomodating. We enjoyed it so much we decided to buy a property in the area!

Fantastic holiday destination

Stayed at Springfield earlier this year and enjoyed a fantastic break. The house has everything we needed for a very comfortable and relaxed stay. It is close to Bude and to the north Devon coastline where the views and walks are spectacular. It is a very peaceful location with lovely views. Springfield House is excellent for larger groups or two families as there is plenty of space and a good ping pong/games room for children. There is a good sized garden round the house and we had many BBQ's enjoying the sunsets. We had a great time and I would definitely recommend it.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
