Lovely villa with private heated pool, fully air-conditioned, and with a large terrace. Villa Gigliola is a lovely spacious and newly renovated villa on the edge of the village of Pievescola. The two bedroom accommodation is suitable for four guests looking for an oasis of peace and tranquillity. The villa sleeps four in great comfort, and is beautifully furnished and decorated, it has been authentically restored to reveal its original chestnut beams, terra cotta tile ceilings and floors, window shutters, open wood burning fire and a host of other original features. The villa has been furnished to a high standard with a mixture of antique furniture, luxury Frette bed linens and towels. Nothing has been over looked and all the modern features like air conditioning, coffee machine and ice machine are provided to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

Villa Gigliola is situated on the edge of Pievescola, a typical quiet and pretty Tuscan village. Pievescola nestles in the foothills of the Montagnola Senese and is an ideal base from which to explore the beautiful valleys and hills. From nearby Monte Maggio you can look down over the City of Siena with its awe-inspiring Gothic cathedral, bell-towers and piazzas. There are countless ways to appreciate the pastoral life and superb scenery, from horse-riding to bird-watching. The clear light and varied landscape of the rolling hills come alive at certain times of year with fields of yellow sunflowers, vibrant red poppies and every conceivable shade of green.   • Rental periods run from Saturday 4pm to Saturday 10am. To reserve the villa you would need to send us a 10% deposit of the total rent due, with the balance payable on arrival at the Villa
    Our cancellation policy is simple; if we can find another renter for your dates we will return any money sent to us (minus bank charges).
    The rental rate includes absolutely everything - utilities, bed linen, towels, heating, after-stay clean and weekly clean for stays over a week.
    PLEASE NOTE : The pool is heated from 1st April to end of October only.
  • The villa owners are also in the restaurant business and run a beautiful restaurant in a converted watermill in a nearby town. They provide a very generous welcome basket for guests to enjoy on arrival and enough food for your first evening supper.

  • The Master Bedroom is at the front of the villa with two windows and views of the terrace. It has a queen size bed with handmade headboard and throws. All our guests enjoy Frette linen sheets. There is a double wardrobe, two bedside tables with lamps, a luggage rack and occasional table with lamp.The bedroom also has a safe. The second bedroom is located at the rear of the villa. The window has a view of the courtyard garden at the rear of the villa. this bedroom is smaller than the master bedroom and is has ziplock beds which can be zipped together to make a double bed or the room can be made up as a twin room. There is a bedside table and lamp and a hanging rail for clothes and a tallboy. THE VILLA IS FULLY AIR-CONDITIONED.
