Brand new for 2009, Bwthyn Derwen has a large open-plan living-dining area with travertine stone floors, under floor heating, and a wood burning stove. The furniture is contemporary with light oak and cream leather in the dining area and aubergine & stone coloured sofas in the living room to provide a rich contrast to the farrow and ball painted walls. The sunken kitchen is fitted with cream units and is well equipped with appliances and utensils. An exquisite spiral staircase leads to a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a further double bedroom and family bathroom. Upstairs the floors are solid oak with radiators to heat the bedrooms. Linen and towels are all Egyptian Cotton and each guest is provided with the use of a bath robe and luxury guest toiletries. Outside there is a large, private, south-facing patio with BBQ, extending teak dining table, parasol and 6 chairs. The cottage sleeps 4 in the bedrooms but can sleep up to 7 with use of a sofa bed and large snuggler chair.

Small dogs considered at small additional charge – please enquire. Inclusive in the price for the cottage is a luxury welcome hamper and a box of logs. As Bwthyn Derwen is part of the Carreglwyd Country Estate, the huge fishing lake and beautiful woodland walks are made available to guests on request.
