Set in mature gardens and olive trees, surrounded by covered and open terraces there are several dining and relaxing shady areas to choose from while enjoying the peace and tranquility, or soaking up the sun by the 9 x 4 metre pool. By the pool there is a traditional Andalucian style bar and kitchen, changing/shower room, barbeque and gazebo dining area, providing all the ingredients for living the Mediterranean life of hot days and balmy nights. Inside the villa, there is a comfortable sitting room, satellite TV, DVD player, internet access, log fireplace and patio doors leading to the outside sitting room. Off the sitting room is a dining room for seating 8 people. The kitchen/diner is fully equipped for all culinary aspirations. The villa is designed for easy living for either taking time out or enjoying company.

Hiding down 1km cul de sac track, the villa sits in an oasis of tranquil gardens where guests can enjoy peace and privacy. For walkers, joggers and nature lovers it is a short drive to Tejeda National Park with tracks winding through pine woods and breathtaking mountain views across the valleys to Lake Viñuela and down to the sea. There are also many other prescribed and graded walks in the vicinity. The villa lies below an old Phonecian castle with almost 360 degs aspects. The local village is 2km down the road with shops for everyday requirements, bars and restaurants. There is a wide choice of all types of restaurants within short distances. Nearer the coast is a Water Park and a large shopping complex then the resort town of Torre del Mar with beaches and water sports. The Nerja Caves at Maro are fascinating. Nearby are lovely uncrowded beaches and the delightful village of Frigiliana. Discover other white villages. The history and the magic of Andalucia is on the doorstep.

Additional information about rental rates

  • A non refundable deposit of 25% of the total rental charge is required with booking. The balance is due 6 weeks before commencement of rental. A refundable breakages deposit of €300 is required on arrival.
  • The pool can be heated for an extra charge of £90 per week.
    Included are gardener, pool cleaning and a clean at the end of the stay. A weekly change and maid service is available at a reasonable rate for stays of more than a week.
    Baby and Child equipment, toys etc can be ordered in advance through 'Nursery Needs' and delivered in time for your stay. Please enquire when booking.

Notes: As a home, the outside areas have been perfected for optimum enjoyment of the Mediterranean outdoor lifestyle set in mature landscaped gardens affording total privacy. There is a Roman step 9 x 4 mt pool with electric cover over with sun from when it comes over the mountain in the early morning to late in the evening, a pool bar with a fully equipped kitchen, CD/mp3 player and TV, gazebo dining area and various other dining places and terraces with sunloungers, poolside chairs, rustic umbrellas, a lily pond and a hammock for those lazy hours under the pepper tree. Under the covered verandah a comfortable outside sitting room with sofa and armchairs provides a perfect siesta spot. For amusement, there is a full sized petanque pitch which can be floodlit for those fun evening sessions, with patio table and chairs for between game refreshments. Garden and pool lighting creates a romantic and magical atmosphere on those balmy, cicada chirruping evenings, soft music, a glass of wine....
