This beautiful and quiet apartment is in the center of the lovely little town „Sambuca di Sicilia“ in the „via Bonadies“ (which is at the crossroad of the main road „ Corso Umberto I”). It is part of a listed palazzo dating back as far as the early 18th century. It is still part of the Planeta family’s main residence but has its own separate entrance. The apartment includes a tastefully furnished living room, a big bedroom with two beds and TV, a roomy and cozy kitchen (washing machine and dishwasher) with balcony and view to the light pictorial internal courtyard of the palazzo. In the living room there is a Sofabed for two people and a further sleeping arrangement can be made. In Sambuca di Sicilia you will find a gorgeous museum and a theater (the season runs from December to May), numerous restaurants and bars as well as pastry shops, which prepare local delicacies, supermarkets, hairdressers, dry-cleaners and many nice little shops.

In the valley „del Belice“ along the ‘wine road’ you find the little town “Sambuca di Sicilia”, 20km from the sea. It belongs to the province „Agrigento” and is surrounded in the northwest by woods and in the southeast by the lake „lago Arancio“ and 80km away from Palermo. It was founded by the Arabic Emir „Al Zabut“ (the magnificent), who gave the village its name in 827. Outside the village is the mount „Monte Adranone“ with an acropolis „phonemics“ from the 5th century. Along the coast are the marvelous temples of Selinute, one of the most important archeological sites of Europe. The landscape is rich in vineyards, forests and trails for hiking all complete with a panoramic view of the lake. The beaches in this area belong to some of the most beautiful ones in Sicily. Sambuca di Sicilia together with the commune of Menfi, Santa Margherita di Belice and Sciacca belonges to a wine-growing area, which has its own controlled indication of origin 'DOC Sambuca di Sicila“ since 1995.
