Situated close to the quiet village of Bridgerule about seven miles from the market town of Holsworthy. Dartmoor is within a short distance and Exmoor a little further afield. The bathing and surfing beaches of North Cornwall are within 15 minutes' drive. There are several National Trust properties in the vicinity and the house is perfectly placed as a base for exploring the many attractions both cultural and historical in the area. Holsworthy is a lovely little market town and the main town of Bude lies about ten miles away. There are many National Trust properties nearby; Lanhydrock, Cotehele, Arlington Court and The Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan are about and hour and a half in the car. Morwellham Quay is a great insight into a Victorian harbour and how it worked and there are many other attractions as well as the fantastic scenery and coastal activities on offer. There are outdoor pursuit centres, tennis, squash, horseriding, bowls and a gym nearby.
