This 2 bedroom apartment is on the ground floor of a traditional town house on the edge of the village of Alcala de la Jovada. It enjoys open views across the valley to the mountains and has immediate access to the countryside and its many walks. It is in a very tranquil street with no passing traffic although there is parking available directly outside the apartment. The apartment comprises 2 double bedrooms, bathroom, living room with open fire, kitchen and open plan dining room. The kitchen is fully equipped and all facilities are new as the property was only renovated one year ago! As well as the open fire there is heating. The Village of Alcala boast no fewer than 3 bar/restaurants, from rustic regional cooking to gourmet standards at the famous local Font de Alcala, restaurant and hotel in the main square. This gives the village a warm and friendly atmosphere. The village also has a municipal pool for general use by residents. THE PROPERTY IS ALSO FOR SALE.

The old moorish village of Alcala de la Jovada is situated in the picturesque valley of Alcala between Vall de Ebo and beside the equally beautiful Vall de Gallinera. The area is surrounded by wonderful mountain views with a wide variety of open views, flora and fauna. The area is most known for its walking. The village is a very scenic drive from the coast of Denia with the town of Pego being the nearest main shopping town. The nearer traditional villages of Planes and Muro de Alcoy also offer a weekly produce market and local shops. The area also offers attractions such a horse riding, fishing, caves and some wonderful country restaurants. The area is famous for its fruit trees such as cherries, apples, pears and peaches. The Spring (March/April) with the cherry blossom is a particularly lovely time to visit the area. The Village is also surrounded by several ancient Moorish villages whose ruins are fascinating to visit.

Notes: Although the apartment is on the edge of the village, it is within walking distance of all the village amenities. The street ends outside of the house so there is very safe on street parking. There is no passing traffic. There is direct acess to the countryside from the walkers path right beside the house. The area is very tranquill. In the village there is a pharmacy, hotel, 3 bars/restaurants and church. The neighbouring villages of Vall de Ebo and Planes offer a weekly produce market and some local shops. You are 20 mins by car from the larger towns offering various supermarkets etc.
