From tiled floors and stone walls to ceilings with original wood beams, this house offers all that is typical of medieval Uzès. Completed by a sunny south-facing garden, the house is a restful retreat yet just a few steps from the historic buildings, shops & restaurants of Uzès Reception room - bright and sunny with sofas and CD player. Uzès is a completely unspoilt town with a fascinating history. It is characterised by well-preserved, elegant town houses built in local limestone. Each Saturday, the town is filled by one of the best Provençal markets in the area - there is also a producers' food market every Wednesday morning. Speciality markets, fairs, concerts and other events are held throughout the year including Music Festival (July), Fete Votive (August), Wine Fair (August), Truffle Fair (January). Whenever you visit, there is always plenty to do. Close by: Pont du Gard, Avignon, Arles, Orange, Aix-en-Provence and Nîmes. A little further afield: beaches, The Camargue, Aigues Mortes, Montpellier, Marseille.

  • Booking Information:

    * Bookings run from Saturday to Saturday. From October – May, bookings may start on another day, subject to availability of the accommodation.
    * To enable us to service the accommodation between guests, please time your arrival after 16.00 and your departure by 11.00.
    * All prices quoted are in Euros and are per week.
    * Non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total rental amount is payable at the time of booking.
    Balance due 6 weeks before rental starts.
    A security deposit of 20% of one week’s rent is required with the final balance. This will be refunded after the rental ends, less deductions for breakages, provided that the property is left in a satisfactory condition.
    * Payment should be made by Euro cheque or International Bank Draft in Euros.
    * Directions to the property will be sent by email once the full fee has been received
