The Lodge is a newly let bungalow style villa, set in beautiful gardens with its own private swimming pool (4x8m), in the foothills above Paphos and Coral Bay. It has two bedrooms, one with ensuite bathroom. There are beamed cathedral ceilings throughout the property making it feel light and spacious. Outside is a large shaded terrace overlooking the pool, with spectacular views of the sea where you can watch the sun go down. The centre of Tala is a 10/15 minute walk away where you will find a selection of traditional tavernas, bars and restaurants. There is a fantastic bakery where you can buy fresh bread and patisseries in the morning then come back and have breakfast outside! The property is managed by a lovely English couple who live nearby who are happy to help should you need it. If required* they are able to collect you from Paphos Airport which is 25 minutes away.

Nearest Airport: Paphos Airport 25 minutes drive at 10 Miles
Nearest Beach: Coral Bay 15 minutes drive at 4 Miles

Nearest Ski: Troodos Mountains 2 hours drive at 30 Miles

Car: recommended
The Lodge is a 10/15 minute walk from the centre of Tala which is 6 km from Paphos. There is a small supermarket in the village and three large ones within 15 minutes drive. We would recommend you hire a car for at least part of your visit as there is so much to explore around the island. In the centre of Tala is a 15th Century church and a little further up the hill is the famous St Neophytos Monastery. The Lodge is 3 km inland from the coast where there are plenty of watersports activities available, particularly in Coral Bay. If you prefer a quieter more relaxing beach, Coralia Bay is a little further on. Down in Kato Paphos Harbour is the ancient Byzantine Fort and nearby beautiful Roman Mosaics and Museum. There is plenty to do and see for all ages, from wine tasting tours to mini-golf, and the information pack at the villa will give you guidance about all that is available. Or you might just chill by the pool with a good book and a drink in your hand!

Additional information about rental rates

  • All prices are per week and include linen and bathroom towels. A 25% (non refundable) deposit is required with your booking and the balance payable 6 weeks prior to departure.

    Payment can be made either by cheque or credit card via PayPal.
    * If you require collection from Paphos Airport, which is 25 minutes away, that can be arranged for a £20 fee, bookable in advance.
    If you would like to rent The Lodge for more than two weeks then we would be very happy to discuss a reduction in rental fees.
  • You can order a welcome pack of basic groceries to be there on your arrival for £10.
    If there are any particular things you would like we will endeavour to meet your needs and help make your stay as enjoyable as possible.
  • We require a security deposit of £150 to cover breakages or damage. We would be grateful to receive this in the form of a cheque which we will return to you at the end of your stay assuming the property has been left as found.
    Our reasonable rental rates do not include electricity used for either air-conditioning or heating.
    There are two air-conditioning units, one in each bedroom. You can decide if you require air-conditioning, equally the case for heating, when you arrive. An electric meter reading will be taken in your presence and you will be charged at cost per unit of electricity used. (Typically not more than £2.50 per day for either air-conditioning or heating) (Most of the year it is unlikely you will need either)

Notes: There is a covered carport to the side of the property giving off road parking. The swimming pool has wide steps down into the shallow end (aprox 1 m) and the deep end graduates to 2 metres. The pool is not suitable for diving. The kitchen is fully equipped, electric fan oven, gas hob etc. For your use there is a beach parasol, inflatables and buckets and spades. There is also an iron, ironing-board and rotary clothes line. The English couple who manage The Lodge will occasionally visit as discreetly as possible to water the garden and for routine pool maintenance.
