Known as one of France's 'Best Kept Secrets' the Deux Sevres is the tranquil, laid-back, unspoilt department of the Poitou-Charentes, the second sunniest region in France. It is filled with lazy winding rivers, and is a region truly dedicated to relaxing, restful holidays in superb accommodation. None more so than La Belle Echappee (translates to 'the beautiful escape'), which guarantees you accommodation of the highest standard. La Belle Echappee is sat within walled grounds of one hectare with heated swimming pool offering an abundance of safe activities and entertainment to suit all the family. La Belle Echappee may be let as Chambre d'Hote or to privately let the whole property for self catering. All the bedrooms are luxuriously appointed and equipped with hairdryers, towels and personal bathrobes. An extremely large and comfortable guest lounge and dining room for 51 square metres ensures room for all to relax.

The nearest town of Bressuire is 10 minutes drive away with numerous restaurants, shpos and supermarkets. The medieval town of Parthenay with its many attractions is 20 minutes drive away. Quiet roads will lead you to unexpected places, rivers, lakes, forests, historic towns, small villages with colorful markets and during the summer months a range of festivals and events. The wonderful nearby coastline and beautiful islands of the Atlantic are all there to be explored and visited. Poitiers and FUTUROSCOPE. Niort and Marais Poitevin GREEN VENICE. Notes: Heated swimming pool measuring 10metres x 5metres will be constructed over the winter of 2009 and completed for April 2010. Covered barbeque area. Outside children's play area with Croquet, Boules, swings and table tennis. Darts and table football are also available. Owners live on site. Kitchen is fully equipped with oven, hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster etc. The kitchen leads on to a first floor balcony with wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. Lounge is also on first floor.
