Villard-Reculas is an idyllic little mountain village in the Alpe d'Huez ski-resort; With 230 kilometres of ski slopes, this skiing area “Les Grandes Rousses’ extends from an altitude of 1300 to 3330 metres. Les Grandes Rousses is one of the most advanced skiing areas in Europe, well known and loved by winter sport enthusiasts for the excellent managed pistes, the snow quality, extensive slope network, and for its abundant sunshine. The very modern ski lift system allows you to access quickly the top of ‘Pic Blanc’ at 3330 metres. From the summit there is a superb view of the Alpine summits including Mont Blanc. Experienced skiers can descend from Pic Blanc taking well known slopes in the Alps as ‘Le Tunnel’ and ‘la Sarenne' the longest piste in Europe: 16 km ! Snowcanons ensure snow-sure conditions.
