Photos and Description of this Villard Reculas holiday chalet Comfortable and modern styled chalet, sleeps 12 people, on 1550 meters altitude

In the south and sunny part of the French Alps, within the Alpe d’Huez skiing domain, facing the Oisans mountains, the chalet Hibernation is the dream place for ski and moutain lovers.The chalet has been built at the beginning of the 80’s, respecting architectural traditions of the Oisans.Inside is modern styled and provides accomodation for up to 12 people in excellent comfort conditions. It has a car park for 2 cars and a one space garage. The hall is next to the garage: the entrance is at the top of the chalet on the north side, with much room for skis and boots. The interior has half-floors ( spit levels) all room is on 6 different levels what makes it very spacious. Two bedrooms and shower on same level, half a level down: 2 bedrooms with double bed, bathroom, wardrobe. Another half level down: two more bedrooms, toilet, shower and bathroom. Going down: big kitchen, well equipped! and dining room, last landing: cosy living with open fire, big terrace, many balconnies south side

Villard-Reculas is an authentic and very charming mountain-village, at 1550 meters altitude next to Alpe d'Huez. The village is south facing and it has scenic views from all parts of the village -and from your balconnies- on the glaciers and the summits of Oisans. It makes part of the Alpe d'Huez ski-resort 'Les Grandes Rousses', one of the best in the French Alps and known for the excellent pistes, the extensive slope network and its sunshine. Villard-Reculas contains its own ski resort as well, situated at 1500 meters with slopes on each level. It has his own ESF skischool for alpine ski and snowboard instructions, with -English speaking- tutors. Non skiers can purchase a daily lift pass that allows you access over 30 km of walking pistes. There are guided walks and snow excursions organized.

Notes: Chalet Hibernation has a agreable and comfortable living room with open fire. (The burning wood is included). The french doors open to the big terrace, so you can profite from the sunny place and the magnificent views. And there is the garden8 From the chalet you can go up for a walk immediately, you are in nature. During ski-season you are ski-in, ski-out. Kichen very well-equipped, much space, all kitchen utensils, all provided for more than 12 people, 4 seat bar in kitchen, large dining place with big table: 10-14 people. The chalet is on about 0,8 km from the centre of our village with its grocers, bar, restaurants (even 1 at 0,2 km).
