Who are we ??:
David and Jacqui Cullimore rent Olive Grove Lodge on behalf of a lovely family who own the main villa upon whose land the lodge sits within a private area.The Lodges owner Brian and Clare made this lovely part of Spain their home many years ago and have brought up 2 children Kirsty and Graham who both have great Spanish language skills having been educated in local Spanish Schools.They also have a dog called Buster who is more than happy to retire in this lovely climate.Having great local knowledge allows this family to put their valued guests at ease and give them valuable information if needed to help fully appreciate what this lovely part of Spain has to offer.David and Jacqui also live close to Olive Grove Lodge and fully understand why this is a lovely holiday destination and can answer all of you questions upfront to the booking request.
Local Activities:
The nearest village to Olive Grove Lodge is Riogordo which has numerous bars,restuarants and supermarkets but charming Comares which is a wonderful unspolit 'Blanco' village can be reached within a 20 minute drive, whereupon there is a strong link to Moorish history and several well planned walks.The quaint village has several restaurants serving both Spanish or English fayre all of which are child friendly.There is also a large communal swimming pool open in July and August.The following can be arranged : Pony trekking or beginners classes, beauty treatment, bird watching or simply star gazing in a wonderfully unpolluted sky.
Less than one hour::
Numerous beaches,shopping,city culture, water parks, bowling, cinema, the lovely resort of Nerja and its famous caves or the unspolit beach resort of Torre del Mar with its pleasant promenade, numerous park area and diverse eateries.The lodge lends itself to a relaxing holiday location or is accesible for comfortable days out participating in whatever activity which appeals.
Ski:
The nearest ski resort is in the majestic Sierra Nevada approx a 1 hour 45 minute drive away.
Golf:
The nearest golf course is approx a 40 minute drive away at the Baveria Golf course. Membership is not required and details are available on request.
