Photos and Description of this Gaucin holiday cottage 1 Bedroom cottage, reasonably priced, to sleep 2 near Gaucin, Andalucia.

La Casita is a totally self-contained cottage with its own private terrace set a short distance away from the owners' villa on a beautiful private 50 acre estate. It is comfortably furnished and has a sitting/dining/kitchenette area and a double bedroom with ensuite loo/shower room. The windows have insect screens and are double glazed. There is a wood burning stove and panel storage heaters for the cooler months and a fan for the warmer ones, and the cottage, well insulated, keeps a cool interior on hot summer days. Private path to shared 15 x 5 m swimming pool (June - September). Only 3 miles from the 'white village' of Gaucin, 1/2 hour to the coast, easy access to Gibraltar or Malaga airports. Dog/animal lovers only please. (The owners have dogs, cats, and horses.)

Set amidst the Serranía de Ronda, the Cottage enjoys lovely mountain views and is in a 50 acre private estate, perfect for a morning walk or jog. The 15m swimming pool, with terraces and sun loungers, can be reached by a short private path. The pool is shared with the owners, a couple with no children. Walking and horseriding are favorite activities in the cooler months. And sightseeing, of course. The Route of the White Villages includes Gaucin and winds its way to Ronda and beyond. Granada, Sevilla, and Cordoba are all 2-3 hours' drive away for possible day trips. The Mediterranean and Atlantic Beaches offer an alternative to the mountain views and are within easy reach. Or try a day trip to Tangiers on the Algeciras ferry. There are plenty of activities. or just relax on the terrace, watch the soaring birds, and unwind.
