Easy access from Charles de Gaulle airport or Gare du Nord station and Gare de l'Est on line number 5 or 8 by metro, Republique stop (only 3 stations) or Filles du Calvaire on line number 8, straight in a quiet part of Marais with rue de Bretagne and all kind of groceries, butchers, sushis shops, bakers, cheese shop and Wines of Bacchus, Knights Templar area, not far from Canal Saint Martin for jogging, open market in bld Richard Lenoir and Bastille, Market of 'Enfants Rouges ' rue de Bretagne. Bus 96,1 mn, to Saint Germain des Prés through Place des Vosges, Saint Paul village, Hotel de Ville, Chatelet, Ile de la Cité, Saint Michel fountain.... Through Bld Beaumarchais or rue de Turenne and rue Saint Antoine quick access to Bastille Opera and very charming 'Port de l'Arsenal'. Of course, Picasso museum is very near, beaubourg museum, Carnavalet museum, Hunt and Nature museum, rue des Archives. In Marais area, each street has got an history, each stone is speaking, the famous writer Balzac is everywhere, you have to walk slowly and discover, not far from Bastille and then through Port de l'Arsenal to Seine river, discover Saint Louis island and Ciré island with Notre Dame cathedral, and then go on on left or right bank of the river. Nice french baguette with famous french cheeses and wines, Poilane bread too, with Monoprix, famous supermarket open late at night, rue du Temple or rue Saint Antoine. Circus Bouglione is near too, very curious architecture, and you'll like chinese discipline in Garden of Temple in early mornings. Old ladies with sweet and gentle movements. Canal Saint Martin you'll thinf of 'Hotel du Nord' with Louis Jouvet and Arletty, where you'll enjoy jogging. From Republique to Opera square with Grands Boulevards, many theaters.
