Amroth is on the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and offers large sandy beaches and fine walks. The few shops, pubs and restaurants overlook the sea and are close to the beach which is popular with windsurfing, sailing, jet skiing and canoeing enthusiasts.
Amroth beach is famous for its drowned forest - at very low tides tree stumps may be seen pushing through the sand and fossilised antlers, nuts, animal bones and Neolithic flints have been discovered. This is a good beach for children.
There’s free parking and a slipway for boats. Toilet facilities are near the beach.
Colby Woodland Garden, set in a tranquil and secluded valley, is nearby and merits a visit.
