Anzere is a friendly and attractive south-facing village with all the expected amenities of an alpine ski resort for both winter and summer activities. The resort is purpose built and is one of the finest examples of its kind in the Alps. The Region - Some of the most stunning Alpine scenery is to be found in the Valais region of Switzerland. At the heart of the Rhone Valley is the historic fort town of Sion, which is 20 minutes away. The west end of the valley opens out onto Lake Geneva and the east part finishes up with the Rhone Glacier. Access to many other ski areas is possible from Chalet Les Fetiches. These include Crans-Montana, which neighbours onto Anzere, and on the opposite side of the Rhone is the Four-Valleys ski area, which includes Verbier. Further a field, are the resorts of Zermatt and Saas-Fee. Other aspects of the region include excellent local wines, thermal hot springs, traditional foods such as raclette, and the local firewater Le William!

Additional information about rental rates

  • Rentals run from Saturday 4 p.m. to the following Saturday 10 a.m. Arrival & Departure - Details of key collection will be explained in the final confirmation letter. This is sent out to you once we have received your ‘Balance-Cheque’ & ‘Security-Cheque’.
  • Linen - This is available if required at an additional cost per person (see booking form) - It includes towels, sheets, duvet-covers, pillowcases, drying-up-cloths, and bathmats. Duvets and blankets are provided. Cleaning - The chalet will be clean & checked over before you arrive. You are requested to leave it in the same condition when you depart.
  • 1) To book, a 50% deposit is required. Once the booking is confirmed the deposit is non-refundable.
    2) Once you receive the confirmation notice you have seven days from date of issue to inform us of any discrepancies in details. 3) The balance & security deposit is due 8 weeks prior to your arrival date. If the balance is not received by that time, the week will be put back onto the available list. If somebody else then subsequently takes the week your non-refundable deposit can be used to confirm another available week. If you choose not to take another week you forfeit your deposit. 4) If you are prevented from travelling to Anzere, you may transfer your booking to another person, if this is an option, as long as you give us 21 days notice, & the booking remains exactly the same. You must also agree to pay any additional administration charges if they arise.

Notes: The Top-Floor has the Sitting & Dinning Room with glorious views looking over the Rhone Valley. Off this room are the two Double-Bedrooms, plus the Kitchen & Bathroom. The third Bedroom, with twin beds is located downstairs. The balcony runs around the West and South side of the Chalet which can be accessed through French Windows. Access off the road is excellent, and the ski bus runs past the front door every 15 minutes.

Ski: Anzere is a medium sized friendly family ski resort. The snow record of Anzere is good. It has access to many other ski areas, these include Crans-Montana, which neighbours onto Anzere, and on the opposite side of the Rhone is the Four-Valleys ski area, which includes Verbier. Further a field, are the resorts of Zermatt and Saas-Fee.

Golf: 15 km from Anzere is Crans Montana with its 18 holes golf course (par 72). The Golf Club hosts the European Master Golf Tournament annually, one of the main European events. There is also a 9 holes course, designed by Jack Niklaus (par 35). Another 9 holes course for beginners at Super Crans. The Sion and Sierre Golf Clubs (20 minutes' drive), featuring 18 and 9 holes respectively. Anzere is within 30 minutes' drive from these Clubs.
