Photos and Description of this Gordes holiday villa Secluded 4 bedroom villa with fantastic views of the Luberons

The house is situated in a small hamlet overlooking the ancient villages of the Luberons Mountains. It is surrounded by 2 acres of olive trees. The villa is 2 miles away from Coustellet with its colourful Sunday market, restaurants, little shops and new supermarket. We are half and hour from Avignon and 50mins away from Marseilles airports. You can make day trips to the Carmague and the coast. Isle Sur Sorgue with its brocant and antique shops is just 20 minutes away. The sitting room is unusual with vaulted ceiling and huge fireplace. The kitchen is newly fitted. There are 3 double bedrooms, 1 single room, 2 bathrooms and one modern shower room. All 2 bedded rooms can be made up as doubles upon request. The pool is solar heated and follows the contours of the hillside.

Gordes is one of the most famous and spectacular hill top villages of Provence, with its famous Bories and the beautiful Abbai de Senanque surrounded by fields of lavender up to the door. There are many different hill top villages to visit, including Roussillon, which stands on bright red rock. There are many Masses or farmhouses, and restaurants to enjoy lunch or dinner. One can go canoeing down the river from Fontaine de Vaucluse or Isle sur sorgue. If you are energetic there are walks on and up the Luberons. There is a market in one of the small towns nearly every day. The Sunday market in Isle Sur Sorgue is huge while our local Coustellet market sells many things from oysters to fruit and vegetables to tablecloths and soap.
