This quiet and secluded villa is within walking distance of the beautiful village of Tourtour and is set in approx. 10,000 m2 of private grounds with spectacular views of the Provencal countryside and beautiful sunsets from the main terrace. The accommodation comprises a master bedroom (6ft bed) and large bathroom with separate shower. Upstairs is a further large bedroom (5ft bed) with adjoining child's small bedroom (3ft bed) and ensuite shower room, plus private balcony. The guest wing of the house has a further double bedroom (5tf 3 bed) with ensuite bathroom and a large family room (one 5ft 3 bed and one 3ft bed) with ensuite shower room. The spacious living area is made up of a large fully equipped kitchen and utility room that leads onto an open plan dining area (seats 10) and large sitting area which seats 10 comfortably. There are terraces on three sides of the house and a 10 metre by 5 metre pool with roman steps located approx 20 metres from the house.

Tourtour village -walking distance: From La Garrigue the village of Tourtour is approximately a 20 minute uphill walk. It is known as the village in the sky for its location, perched on the hillside where there are stunning views over the Provencal countryside. The village square has several bars and restaurants shaded by plane trees. There is also a bakery and supermarket, a 17th century working oil mill, 'lavoir' and imposing 16th century chateau. Nearby villages include Aups and Salernes where there are further restaurants and shops and twice weekly Provencal markets.

Verdon Gorge and Lac Sainte-Croix -40 mins by car: Worth a visit is the Verdon Gorge, a river canyon that is known as the Grand Canyon of Europe. It is about 25 kilometres long and up to 700 meters deep. It was formed by the Verdon River, which is named after its turquoise-green colour. At the end of the canyon, the Verdon river flows into the artificial lake of Sainte-Croix-du-Verdon where you can rent kayaks, canoes, boats and pedaloes.
