Summer:

Winter:
The Grand Massif (Samoens, Morillon, Les Carroz, Flaine and Sixt,) is one of France's biggest ski area and has 265km of slopes and fantastic off-piste skiing, 80 ski lifts, offering a variety of terrain for all levels, jam parks ,reliable snow cover and lack of queues. If you are a beginner there are excellent ski instructors and if you are more experienced and fancy a challenge then the numerous black runs and off-piste skiing should satisfy your appetite for fun! The ski season runs from mid-December until the end of April. The Grand Massif Express, lifts skiers from the village centre at 500m up to a key plateau on the circuit, at 1600m, in just eight minutes.

Besides the huge alpine ski area, the Grand Massif has many additional attractions such as wonderful children's snow gardens, plenty of interesting activities for non skiers including mountain walks, snow shoeing, cross country skiing, ice skating, sledging, botanical gardens and a weekly market held in the village square. and superb panoramic views at Tete de Saix, Les Grands Vans, Les Grandes Platieres, Les Dents Blanches, Les Aravis, the Jura Range and of course the magnificent Mont-Blanc.
