This new, modern house and its private pool are in the countryside just outside the historic coastal town of Alghero. Just 15 min drive from Alghero old town and 15 minutes drive from the long sandy beaches and sand dunes of Maria Pia. The house offers a comfortable and spacious holiday house for a family or a group of friends alike. The house is set in its own 4000 m² of land overlooking the hills and countryside just outside Alghero. The house is on a private estate of 3 houses, sharing a gated private road. The beautiful swimming pool is set in gardens; there are ample sun beds and sun-bathing spaces. The shaded outdoor dining terrace overlooks the swimming pool which means that guests find that they spend the major part of their holiday outdoors enjoying the landscapes and hillside views. The house has two double bedrooms and one twin bedded room, each with cot space. For early spring and autumn holidays there is a wood-burning stove. Air-conditioning is available for a supplement.

Monte Ricciu is a rural area just 15 minutes from the historic town of Alghero. This country location is popular for local family homes and for holiday villas, the hill-sides are scattered with private houses and villas because the nearest road provides a fast and easy route into Alghero and to the beaches even in the busiest months of July and August when other roads are slow with traffic. The nearest beaches are in the Lido of Alghero and from the Lido you can drive out to the beautiful bays of Porto Conte or Porto Ferro or to the great snorkelling beaches of Lazzaretto and Le Bombarde. The nearest supermarkets and shops are on a complex just 5 minutes drive from the house. In Alghero centre there is a wide range of food shops, markets and supermarkets for day to day shopping. The beautiful clothes and jewellery shops offer temptations around the old town. Bars and restaurants offer a huge range of food and drink with lots of local and seasonal products available with local wine.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Air-conditioning is available for a supplement of 100€ per night. This may be booked and paid on arrival as euro cash, as most guests find the modern design of the house leaves it pleasantly cool. A security deposit of 500€ or £500 sterling is payable on your arrival, if it proves unnecessary to use the deposit, this is refunded on checking out as, cash. An end of stay cleaning charge of £80 is payable at the time of booking. A transfer service from Alghero airport is available from just £30 one way for groups of 4 or less. For larger parties the price is available on request. Cots are available for a supplement of £5 per night and these should be prebooked. If you have an evening departure, a late check out facility is available. The room is available for you until 9pm at night for just £100, this should be prebooked and is subject to availability. A non-refundable deposit of 20% is requested to secure the booking. The balance is payable 8 weeks before your arrival.
  • Daily housekeeping is available for a supplement of £30 per 90 minutes and should be pre booked.
