Villa Manzara [ translates to stunning views] has been built to high specification and offers private, secluded accommodations perfect for those looking for somewhere to relax whilst still being in walking distance of the town centre.[15 - 20 minutes] through ancient olive groves. Outside hosts a private swimming pool with adjacent shallow dip pool. Large terraces including roof terrace all provide unrivalled views of both the sea and Taurus Mountains. As the sun goes down, these provide the perfect setting to relax and enjoy the sunset with a refreshing drink. There are ample shaded areas to escape the heat of the midday sun. The villa also has cultivated garden areas. Villa Manzara is light and airy with all rooms on ground and middle floors having sliding doors [with mosquito nets] allowing for cooling breezes on hot summer evenings. Decoration is modern with stone tiling throughout being a feature. The large kitchen is extremely well appointed with dining table seats 8.

Kalkan is a sophisticated resort being the place for people who dislike mass tourism. It is sometimes referred to as the best kept secret of Turkey. The local people are very friendly and hospitable. Kalkan is built at the foot of the Taurus Mountains and was originally a small fishing village with the old town retaining its old world charm with its many small and winding streets draped with Bougainvillaea. There are many places of interest to visit in and around Kalkan such as the impressive Saklikent Gorge, Patara beach - home of the Loggerhead turtle, the mountain plateau with the village of Bezirgan, the trout farms and restaurants of Islamlar or the historical sites of Xanthos, Letoon, Kekova,and Myra. Kalkan itself has extensive facilities for boat trips, swimming, diving, snorkelling etc. Kalkan has its own small beach and various beach clubs reached by free water taxi. Stunning natural beaches such as Kaputas are a short bus [dolmus] ride away. Kalkan has a weekly market.

Additional information about rental rates

  • This is the first year of rentals and as such the prices quoted are special introductory rates which are highly competitive for a villa of such high specification and luxury.

    To secure a booking, we require a 25% deposit [non - returnable]. Balance of payment to be made 8 weeks prior to your arrival. At this point we will require an additional £200 damage bond. This will be returned within two weeks of your return home subject to no substantial damage to the villa. Should items such as glasses, plates, cups etc be broken - please replace them.
  • Prices does not include flights or transfers. We can arrange transfers or car hire through our agent.

    Check in/out is normally Saturday but can be flexible depending on bookings.

    Included in the price is weekly maid service and linen change. Please note that beach towels are not provided The pool and terraces are cleaned daily.

    Our local maintenance company offers a 24hr emergency call out. A maintenance representative will welcome you on arrival and will offer advice if required.
  • We would like to mention to guests that this villa is our home. We are more than happy to share it with you but we would ask that you respect it as if it were your own home.

    We do to accept all male/female parties or groups under 25 years old.

  • All four bathrooms have travertine stone floors and walls with glass shower screens and modern W.C and sink facilities. All four bathrooms are of a large size and high specification. All towels are provided.

  • Bedroom 1 and 2 are large, bright and airy with patio doors onto a wide walk around balcony with table and chairs. Both rooms have luxury en suite facilities and high quality fitted wardrobes and dressing tables. Both double bedrooms have magnificent views over both Kalkan and Kalamar bays. Mosquito nets are fitted on all openings. Bedrooms 3 and 4 are on the top level of the villa with direct access to the room terrace. These rooms share a large luxury bathroom. Bedroom 3 has a full range of fitted wardrobes and cupboards and twin beds. Bedroom 4 has two twin beds. The roof terrace area also has the advantage of a small kitchen area with fridge and washing up facilities for those who are too relaxed to go downstairs for a drink! Bed linen is provided.
