Avenue de Grasse is located in a quiet area just behind the main town.A path across from the Residence leads to the famous Marche Forville outdoor market area.The market takes place every morning with fresh produce 6 days a week and one day with antiques for sale.Beyond this lies the famous Rue D'Antibes with its designer shops and the quaint Rue Meynadier, pedestrianised and jammed full of little boutiques and shops.One road down from this is the promenade called the Croissette,famed for the Palais, Film Festival and walkways of the Stars and the beach of the same name stretches along for a couple of kilometres,with private and public areas. Next to this is Cannes Harbour and Marina and the boats leave here to go across the bay to the Iles des Lerins in the bay.Around the corner is another beautiful sandy beach, Plage du Midi which stretches west over to the mountains of the Var.
