Winter romance:
For those who like to spend their holiday apart the slopes can experience the inimitable winter landscape and the flair of being in the front row of the Dolomites while ski touring, snow shoe hiking and hiking, ice climbing, luging, paragliding, during a ski tour or a romantic trip in a sleigh. 100 km ski tracks, 20 km DVS Nordic active route system, and a 6 km toboggan run await you.
Hiking paradise:
Groeden and the Dolomites belong to the richest flora regions of the Alps. The roughness of the terrain, the mountains, valleys and hills, the attitude growth in the mountains as well as the climate affected by the Mediterranean Sea create a botanically treasury of Groeden. Climb from the valley to the Alps by crossing pines, spruces, larches, and arolla pine forests. The Alps are decorated with wild orchids, pea families, stone roses, alp roses, edelweiss, and thousands of flowers. Visit the little cottages while the marmots whistle their sweet melodies in rank gardens and the chamois watch the people from their high rock relief.
Ski:
Unlimited skiing pleasures, silken and velvet slopes. Feel the emotions of more than 1000 km fantastic slopes. Due to an elaborated organisation the access of the slopes in Groeden is handy, unproblematic and cost efficient. Chosse between 2 ski passes: Dolomiti Superski (450 ascent facilities & 1220 km slopes in the whole Dolomites) which is part of the largest ski carousel and ski pass Groeden/Seiser Alm (83 ascent facilities & 176 km slopes). The Dolomiti Supeski pass provides the access to the Sellaronda ski carousel: 205 ascent facilities & 510 km slopes which are accessible by ski from every place in the Groednertal. It is the complete rounding of the Sellastock – an unforgettable experience, enjoy the inimitable landscape. The bus ticket costs 3 € and is valid for one week in each ski bus.
