This holiday cottage has a floor area of approx. 80 m2. It contains 2 double bedrooms, large kitchen, bathroom with private court yard and upstairs sunroom. 15 - 20 minutes by car will take you to some of the most beautiful beaches and golf courses of the Algarve. (Quinta do Lago, Vale do Lobo, Vilamoura etc).

The nearest village is Sta. Barbara de Nexe, about 5 km South. There you can find a bank, postoffice, local doctor, hairdresser, a supermarket, 4 bars and 5 restaurants, of which 3 are of excellent quality. The beautiful old church in the centre is well worth a visit. The nearest town is Loulé, about 7 km to the West. Along the 'Avenida' one will find many banks, shops and al fresco kiosks to drink the local 'bica' (espresso). The newly renovated municipal market offers a wide variety of local produce and a well stocked fish section. The market is open every morning. Saturday is well spent at the reknowned 'Gypsy Market' with lots of textile or leather bargains. Loulé is particularly famous for its Carnival season. During February or March each year the Avenida is closed off for 4 days, when Loulé transforms into a mini-Carnival-in-Rio. Some of Europe´s nicest sandy beaches, from Faro Island, via Dunas Doradas, Vale do Lobo, Quarteira to Vilamoura, are within a 20 - 30 minutes drive.

Sehr großes, freundliches Ferienhaus in absoluter Ruhelage, eigentlich fast noch besser als die Fotos im Internet zeigen! Haben 2 wunderschöne Wochen bei Inky und Wolfgang verbracht, welche sich wirklich sehr herzlich und kompetent um unsere Anliegen kümmerten. Kommen gerne wieder und können es nur jedem empfehlen!! Vielen Dank!
