Ocho Rios holiday villa

Emerald Seas Villa, is located near the Prospect Plantation, two miles east of Ocho Rios. This elegant 6000 sq. foot luxury villa was lovingly restored using the finest of materials, design elements and furnishings. To enter the front door of this magnificent villa is like entering your own private resort. The entrance opens into a large living room which elegantly blends into a second story verandah. One is immediately drawn to this large upstairs verandah and its spectacular view of the 'emerald' sea. Here hot coffee and tea await rising guests and the beautiful tropical sunsets can be enjoyed to the soothing sounds of the surf.

The spacious and elegant living areas of Emerald Seas Villa are built around an indoor rock garden through which the staircase has been cut. This interior garden forms a lovely backdrop for romantic candlelight dinners. French doors open out from the dining room and adjacent family room/bar to the downstairs verandah and large (20 x 38 foot) pool overlooking the sea.

From here, steps take you through flowering bougainvillea to an expansive sundeck (10 x 12 feet) by the sea, where wonderful snorkeling can be enjoyed off the coral reefs. In addition there is a new sand deck at the water’s edge overlooking the Caribbean Sea, perfect for sunning.

With wonderful symmetry, two separate and identical bedroom wings, one East and one West, each with its own arched garden atrium, provide complete privacy and a quiet retreat when needed. All four bedrooms are entered from these two garden atriums. All four bedrooms are spacious and airy, with two opening up through French doors to balconies overlooking the sea, while the remaining two have bay windows overlooking the sea. All bedrooms are air conditioned, and have ceiling fans. All have private bathrooms and dressing areas.

-Bedroom 1 Allamanda Suite King-size mahogany 4-poster bed, sitting area and bay window overlooking the sea. Private bath with tub-shower combination, dressing area.

-Bedroom 2 Orchid Suite Two 4-poster mahogany double beds, large bathroom with whirlpool bath, separate shower, and bidet; dressing area with second sink and dressing table. French doors open onto upstairs balcony overlooking the sea.

-Bedroom 3 Hibiscus Suite King-size 4-poster bed, sitting area, large bathroom with whirlpool bath, separate shower, and bidet; dressing area with second sink and dressing table. French doors open onto upstairs balcony overlooking the sea.

-Bedroom 4 Frangipani Suite Twin beds (can be configured as a king), sitting area and bay window overlooking the sea. Private bath with tub-shower combination, dressing area.

The family room can be converted into an optional 5th bedroom:

-Family Room/Bedroom 5 The family room can be set up as either a twin or king bed with en-suite bathroom and shower.

A private fully lit tennis court on the grounds, and an air-conditioned family room complete with wet bar, cable TV , stereo, table tennis and board games of every description provide further options for an activity filled vacation. The villa has recently added wireless ASDL service and complimentary US/Canada/UK phone service via a dedicated line.

The villa has excellent electronic security and gated entrance.

Emerald Seas has complimentary access to the beach at Royal Plantation (over 18) and Shaw Park (with children). Conveniently next door to Emerald Seas is the very exclusive Sans Souci Hotel. The villa has a membership that allows guests to use the gym and aerobics club with free admission for up to 4 guests at a time. This membership does not include access to the beach or any other facilities. However Emerald Seas also has a special rate of $45.00/person for a day pass (instead of $75.00) entitling Emerald Seas guests to use the beach and all facilities, food and drinks for entire day; and $55.00/person for a night pass (instead of $95.00) for dinner, drinks and entertainment. (No children under 16.) Just 12 minutes from Emerald Seas is Sandals Golf & Country Club where Emerald Seas guests are granted discounted greens fees ($45.00 instead of the normal $100).

Emerald Seas has a full staff of five, composed of cook, housekeeper, houseman, laundress and gardener. The cook will manage all marketing and meal preparation in accordance with your choice of menu. Emerald Sea prides itself on its excellent service and fine cooking, including freshly made bread daily.
