Nueva Andalucia holiday apartment "Los Naranjos De Marbella" in Puerto Banus

What a WONDERFUL apartment!
It exceeded expectation on every level.
Myself and my two friends (all 28 year old women) opted to stay at a private let, after the hotel prices were working out nearly double, and we generally like to go for 4-5* places.
We selected this apartment based on the photo’s, price and location.
Prior to getting to the apartment, the email communication, directions from Malaga and helpful information on the local area was fantastic, for 3 first timers to Spain.
We EASILY got to the apartment from the airport bus to the bus station, and then a cab straight to Las Naranjas for about 8Euros each.
When we got into the apartment, we were so pleasantly surprised. It was so spacious and clean, the pictures (although good) do not do the place justice.
We were even more impressed with the range of items on offer to us, a video with videos, DVD player with a full range of films, books, a manual full of information (like bus schedule, taxi numbers etc), Sky TV and a dishwasher and washing machine.
The pool area is beautiful and so clean...and empty throughout our stay in September...and its about a 10 second walk.
As 3 young girls we clearly wanted to sample the nightlife, so a 25 (max) minute walk gets you to the centre of Puerto Banus.. which is full of every cuisine and really cool bars.

To conclude, my friends and i loved this place, it has everything from location/accessibility to all the amenities you could want..the supermarket is also very large and has everything you could need for a great night in.
The whole experience has been great and this is the first time i have ever stayed in a holiday let and also written a review.
Our leaving comment was ‘maybe next year we could see what Caroline and James‘s apartment in France is like?’.

My husband , two boys and myself stayed in this apartment in Los Naranjos de Marbella for ten days in August 2011 and would thoroughly recommend it to fellow travellers. The apartment was beautifully presented in immaculate condition complete with all mod cons to ensure every comfort was available to us to enhance our holiday experience.
We had been provided with very concise arrival details complete with maps and full directions to easily locate our apartment. The complex itself is very well maintained with lovely swimming pool area which was never too busy.
The apartment has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, fitted kitchen, large lounge and balcony, all beautifully decorated and fitted out to a very high standard.It has Tv DVd, Sky and wifi access.
It is within a 20 minute walk to the centre of Puerto Banus, a 5 min taxi ride either. There are restuarants well worth visiting in the area as well as a huge range in the marina and centre of town.
I would strongly recommend this apartment to family and friends, where a relaxed modern clean apartment is required within easy reach of the busy resort.

Stayed at the apartment in Feb 2011. Found it very clean and furnished to a very high standard - wooden floors, granite worktops, leather sofas, etc and has lots of subtle lighting, which is something I particularly like - nothing worse than trying to chill out with only a 100 watt energy saver in the ceiling! The owners have obviously thought about the comfort of guests. Felt at home straight away - power showers really good too. The balcony is large and overlooks the lovely pool and gardens - sitting listening to the breeze in the palm trees in the evening is perfect.
Contact and information provided by the owners was excellent and everything very well organised and access straightforward. There is a managing agent on site if you have any queries/problems which is reassuring. The apartment is on a large complex and many people live there permanently, which makes it feel very safe, especially out of season, avoiding that 'ghost town' thing some places have. It was quiet and very well lit too at night. The complex is very well maintained with beautiful gardens, palms and fountains everywhere and a great little bistro on site.
Brilliant & cheap bus service both to Puerto Banus and Marbella from apt, although we walked to PB mostly as only 20 minutes away. Beware though getting the bus from airport to Marbella in winter season - only 1 coach every 2 hours weekends - and there's no queue etiquette like in UK - watch the OAP's - they'll knock you out to get to the front!
Taxis easy to book using no's in the apartment.
Nightlife in PB fairly quiet in Feb as evenings chilly, although 20 deg in day. Had a fab meal at La Pappardella (road leading to old lighthouse/harbour). Expensive but really good and friendly too.
La Habana Hemmingway Bar plays good music and does top mojitos c/o the Cuban owner. (ask where it is as can't see it from front, but just round corner at portside bar end of harbour).
Had a meal at Vincents Beach bar too (about 1 mile walk from PB along front) - fab food and one of best locations ever - fish bbq'd in boat. Old Joy is a laugh if you like people watching/cheesy singers, but the drinks are extortionately priced - everything is 10euros min.
Can't wait to return when the clubs are open!
