Location: Lenk in Switzerland

Nearest Airport: Bern - Belp at 80 Kilometres
Nearest Train: Lenk at 4 Kilometres
Nearest Motorway: Spiez - Zweisimmen at 40 Kilometres
Car: not necessary
You reach the village of Lenk by car or by rail. From Lenk to Tannenbühl 4 km on the Bühlberg Road. Tannenbühl is 400 m above the village with a free view on the valley and the mountains. Every hour there is a bus from Lenk station to Bühlberg, bus stop Tannenbühl close to the chalet. Near the chalet the landscape is dominated by mountain meadows and forests. A summer and winter hiking trail starts immediately above the chalet.

Im Januar 09 verbrachten wir eine Woche in diesem Chalet. Der Ausblick über das Simmental ist wunderbar. Die Wohnung ist gemütlich eingerichtet, die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, genügend Geschirr und eine tolle Kaffeemaschine ist vorhanden. Der super Pellet-Ofen macht abends gemütlich warm und verbreitet eine tolle Stimmung.
Kleiner negativer Punkt: die Busfahrt zum Haus-Skiberg (Bühlberg) ist trotz Skipass gebührenpflichtig (pro Fahrt und pro Person stolze 3,- SFR), ein Auto ist somit zu empfehlen. Die Berg- und Talfahrt zum Haus kann bei reichlichem Schnee (für ängstliche Fahrer) anstrengend und kritisch sein. Zum Glück gibt es im Winter die Einbahnstraßenregelung.
