Müden/Örtze is also known as the pearl of the Southern Heath. The prices indicated are all inclusive. What we’re offering you: telephone calls free of charge and W-LAN network connection if available, a large garden with a sunbathing lawn, terrace and barbecue. The equipment includes a microwave oven, coffee machine, toaster and all the usual mod cons –freezer and tumble dryer upon request. You can store your bicycles and prams etc. in the annexe, there is place to park your car in front of the house. Satellite connection for guests/colour TV available (if you can’t or don’t want to bring your own, we’ll gladly lend you our spare TV). Your pets are welcome.

• The charges are for 4 persons: 40 Euros/night (extra bed+3 euros), plus a one time final cleaning charge of 25 Euros. The additional bedroom (max. 2 persons) can be rented for 8 Euros/night and more persons can be added, the final cleaning charge is 8 Euros.

Find out how kieselgur is mined and what it is used for (dynamite). There are explanatory tables all along the kieselgur excursion trail containing extensive, scientific details. The trail runs through wonderful juniper forests and heathland. A myriad of hiking possibilities in the superb surrounding region, whether you are on foot or bicycle. (You will find a bicycle shop nearby and a bicycle hire point right there).
