Beautiful 2-floor property in central Lisbon sleeping 4

The Mouraria Duplex apartment is a romantic attic duplex self-catering apartment near Martim Moniz Metro, with 2 floors, and suitable for up to 4 guests.

Its main features are: bedroom with marvellous double round bed, double sofa-bed in living room, free Internet (both wi-fi and cable), cable TV channels, wonderful views over the city's rooftops, central location close to major transport facilities.

The apartment is located on the third floor of a newly renovated building in the heart of the famous and historic Mouraria district of Lisbon, and literally just 3 minutes walk from Martim Moniz square, where there is a convenient Metro station. This flat is located very close to major sights and attractions such as, for example, the Elevador de Santa Justa & the Carmo Convent ruins.

  • The attic bedroom is located on the upper floor of this 2-floor duplex apartment. The magnificent round bed greets you immediately, and is the outstanding feature of this romantic apartment, together with the traditional wooden infrastructure and the excellent views of the city's rooftops offered from the large skylight windows. The bedroom also includes a small single mattress in case an urgent extra sleeping place is needed, romantic lighting, and storage space for clothes. There is also a portable rack for hanging clothes, and a full-length mirror. 2 large skylight windows offer wonderful views over the city.

The local Lisbon golf course is the Club de Golfe Belavista - Av. Avelino Teixeira Mota, Tel: 21 8310860 - located in the centre of Lisbon, just 15 minutes from our apartment.

Perhaps the most famous course is at the upmarket Penha Longa Golf Club in a former monastic estate, designed by Robert Trent Jones and that has hosted the Portuguese Open.

The Estoril Golf Club, right on the A5 motorway from Lisbon to Cascais, has 27 holes designed by McKenzie Ross. This also hosts the Portuguese Open and international competitions.

Quinta de Marinha, just outside Cascais on the Guincho road, was also designed by Robert Trent Jones and is part of a holiday complex, featuring a driving range, six tennis courts and a hotel.

Another option is Campo de Golfe de Belas, near Queluz-Belas train station, a Championship-standard golf course designed by William Rocky Roquemore.

We enjoyed the stay in the apartment and we would like to give it our highest recommendations: it is centrally situated, it is cosy and romantic and most of all if has the extra-wow factor that makes the stay more enjoyable than a hotel room would do. and the attention we received from the landlord was greatly appreciated.
