Les Ayguades offers a lot to do. You’ll be surprised by all the activities you can do near the resort, including horse-riding, amusement parks, go-kart racing, miniature golf and wine cellar visits. This small family seaside resort has a friendly atmosphere and lots of charm.
Trips:
Although the Languedoc-Roussillon region is best known for its splendid Mediterranean coastline, travel a little inland and you will find a totally different character with plenty to add a bit of variety to the ubiquitous bucket and spade holiday. Not only will you find beautiful scenery such as the rolling Corbières hills, the Parc National de Haut Languedoc, or the Pyrenean mountains, but there is also incredible history to be found with the medieval fortress town of Carcassonne and the dramatically situated Cathar castles. Carcassonne:This medieval walled fortress town dominates the skyline as you approach: 7 km of crenellated ramparts, 52 towers, and a superbly preserved castle (a fort within a fort). The towered Cité offers a peep into the past dating back as far as 2600 years ago. It was perfectly restored by Viollet Le Duc in the 19th century and is now listed as a UNESCO world heritage site.
