Its unique position near many interesting art-filled cities makes “La Viscontina” to an ideal base to discover first hand the beauty of “the green heart of Italy”. “La Viscontina” offers space furnished with exquisite taste, but has a charming simplicity characteristic of this region. The entrance, the kitchen, fully equipped, antique and modern at the same time, is the heart of the house. Next to it, a warm and comfortable living room with satellite TV. The two double bedrooms on the ground floor, each with ensuite bathroom, are very inviting and spacious with windows framing a view just like paintings on the Umbrian landscape. On the first floor two bedrooms, with twin single beds and ensuite bathroom. The house is directed towards a beautiful garden with swimming pool (12 x 4.50 m) with a spectacular view.

The Amelia area is a remarkable mixture of nature and civilisation, you can admire and feel history everywhere: castles, medieval villages, beautiful churches, but also stunning natural sites as the Tiber Fluvial Park, the Alviano Oasis, the Dunarobba fossil forest. Wide areas covered with scrub, ilex trees, oak trees and chestnut groves stretch on the hills as far as you can see. This area is wonderfully placed for hopping into Umbria, to Orvieto, Todi, Spoleto, Perugia, Assisi and a lot more, or popping down to Rome, or exploring renowed Tuscany.
