We would like to offer you this refurbished, light 16th-century attic flat, situated in the historical village centre of Pisciotta and featuring a huge roof terrace. From here you will have a dreamlike view over the roofs of Pisciotta to the wide and open sea and to Cape Palinuro to the south. The apartment covers approx. 65 sqm and is composed of a large bathroom (bath tub, WC, bidet), a laundry room (with washing machine), and a generous, smartly designed open room with kitchen area, dining, living and sleeping area (double bed and single bed). In addition to the spacious roof terrace (with a large sunshade) the apartment also features a balcony. Neither of them can be observed by any neighbour, so you can always feel undisturbed. Casa Mario has been named after the very obliging and charming proprietor of the 'Tre Gufi' restaurant, located only 150 m from the apartment, which - not only offers delicious dishes (the pizza is superb...) but also a splendid panoramic view of the sea.

On the coastal road from Palinuro to Velia, the medieval village Pisciotta is picturesquely situated on a hill above the Mediterranean Sea. In the narrow lanes and stairways with their palazzis and 16th century house fronts, you will experience the unique atmosphere of the Italian village life. In spite of its closeness to the sea, Pisciotta has remained free from the side effects of tourism. Just like hundreds of years ago people live and practice their old customs and traditions. Casa Mario is located in the historical village centre of Pisciotta. Within a few minutes you will reach the piazza with its grocery stores and bars. Neither are a cash dispenser and the post office far. To the beach of Marina di Pisciotta you may use the 1-km footpath or the 3-km road. The medieval stairways and lanes cannot be used by car or motorcycle. This car free area will bless you with perfect calmness and relaxing. Sufficient car parks can be found around the centre (approx. 150 to 200m).
